Undeterred by early morning rain and a burst water main in front of our Garden Tour Hub, our 2017 Inaugural Garden Tour unfolded without a hitch. By mid-morning, gray skies gave way to blue with puffy white clouds and tour goers were plentiful throughout the neighborhood - on foot, on bikes, and in cars. The profits from this tour raised the “seed” (pun intended) money for our first Leimert Park Garden Tour beautification project: the planting and irrigation improvements on the centrally located Degnan traffic median. This was decidedly a successful start to the first of many future garden tours in our neighborhood.
